Lowmead State School offers modern, well-maintained facilities designed to support learning, play, and community engagement. Our main classroom is a large, flexible space with two mirrored areas separated by a sliding wall, allowing for small-group learning or an open-plan layout for our multi-aged class. Each area features modern furniture, a large LCD interactive screen, and air conditioning, ensuring a comfortable and engaging learning environment.
The school also includes a multipurpose room, serving as both a library and a space for cooking lessons, as well as an administration building housing the front desk, Principal’s office, staff room, and storage. A separate toilet block provides facilities for boys, girls, and staff.
Outdoor spaces are equally impressive, with a well-maintained oval, a newly resurfaced synthetic grass tennis/multipurpose court, a new covered playground, a covered sandpit, covered walkways, and a covered handball court/outdoor learning area. Well-kept gardens and a functional tank water system enhance the school’s appearance and sustainability. The grounds are also occasionally used by the Bushkids playgroup, fostering connection with the wider community.
Parking and drop-off/pick-up are easily accessible via a council carpark and designated zones, ensuring convenience and safety for staff and families. With upgraded facilities, flexible learning spaces, and extensive outdoor areas, Lowmead State School provides a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for students, staff, and the wider community.
