Lowmead State School offers a Student Resource Scheme (SRS) to provide families with a convenient and cost-effective way to access the learning materials students need throughout the school year.
The scheme is optional and provides an alternative to purchasing individual book list items. Through the SRS, the school bulk purchases and supplies a range of classroom resources, helping to reduce costs for families while ensuring students have the materials they need from the beginning of the year.
The scheme covers resources such as stationery, exercise books and classroom consumables used during learning. Items that students create using these materials remain their property.
The 2026 SRS participation fee is $50 per student.
The Student Resource Scheme has been endorsed by the Lowmead State School P&C Association and operates in accordance with Queensland Department of Education guidelines.
Families may choose to:
-
Participate in the SRS by paying the annual participation fee, or
-
Opt out and purchase all required resources independently using the school's resource list.
Further information, including the current SRS Resource List and Participation Agreement, is available from the school office or upon enrolment.
